Saint Abanoub Youth (SAYG)
Your home away from home.

Saint Abanoub Youth, also known as SAYG, is a place for young people to grow in faith, build friendships, and find purpose within the church. We meet every Friday night for a youth gathering that includes an engaging talk or sermon, a fun activity, and a home-cooked meal shared together as a family.

Beyond our weekly meetings, SAYG runs several outreach and service programs. St Verena’s Helping Hands brings together young women to strengthen their faith through acts of service and fellowship, while Amba Abraam’s Service unites youth from all walks of life to give back to the wider community.

At the heart of everything we do is the belief expressed by Pope Shenouda III: “A church with no youth is a church with no future.” SAYG is committed to nurturing a generation of faithful, compassionate, and active young people who live out their faith both inside and outside the church.
